Biography

Vincent J. Bove, CPP is a Board Certified Protection Professional, Board Certified Crime Prevention Specialist, Certified Police Training Commission Instructor, Certified NJSP Security Instructor, and USDOJ Certified Community Anti-Terrorism Awareness Instructor Trainer.

Vincent’s newest book, Reawakening America, extensively addresses ethical policing, and building bridges of trust with the community. His previous book, Listen to Their Cries, on leadership and violence prevention, was sponsored by West Point for attendees from colleges nationwide during his National Conference on Ethics in America conference presentation.

Listen To Their Cries was also sponsored for law enforcement, educators, and community leaders at events including The Southern New Jersey Prosecutors Safe Schools Conference (SNJPSSC) and the Bergen County Education Association (BCEA). The SNJPSSC initiative was a collaboration of seven prosecutors representing over 300 agencies and schools in their respective counties. 

The BCEA involved 279 schools in partnership with the Bergen County Sheriff's Department and Bergen County Police Chiefs Association, where Vincent has served as Community Policing / School Security Chairperson for 20 consecutive years.

Aside from presentations nationwide on American policing, leadership and violence prevention, and 275 published works on these issues, Vincent developed a conference titled 21st Century Policing: America’s Ethical Protectors. 

This initiative was in partnership with the Bergen County Prosecutor, Bergen County Police Chiefs Association, and Bergen County Sheriff’s Office.  Vincent served as keynote speaker for the event - attended by local, county, and state police agencies.  He has also authored 13 cover stories for The Chief of Police distributed to police chiefs and law enforcement nationwide.

Vincent has also conducted Leadership Principles: Crisis Planning, Community Partnerships, Violence Prevention keynotes to safeguard New York City at five city-wide venues for representatives from the museums, colleges and universities, cultural properties, financial institutions, and hospitals.
